Here is a written guide on the basic controls for Blali 1:
Use the arrow keys (or WASD when using BetterBlali) to move around.
- Left Arrow/A to move left
- Right Arrow/D to move right
- Up Arrow/W to jump
- Down Arrow/S to crouch AND to float mid-air
The Float Ability is the main mechanic of all Blali games and lets you float over gaps that you otherwise wouldn't be able to jump over. The downside of using Float is that you slowly descend and can't float infinitely (at least not in Blali 1). Floating can also cancel any sort of momentum that you have (e.g. upwards momentum when using a spring or downwards momentum when falling).
You can shoot by using the space bar (or ENTER when using BetterBlali). You can only shoot when picking up a gun. Every gun has 6 bullets (afaik). Guns as well as gun bullets can stack if you collect multiple guns.
You can also skip dialouge with space bar and ENTER. Holding the button down will greatly increase the speed at which you skip the dialouge. This can even be buffered as long as you don't change your movement buttons. If you hold space bar/ENTER and THEN change your movement commands in any way, the buffer will not work.
