if i start a run for example on the island, am i allowed to upload my character and travel to another ARK (let's say scorched earth) to get dinos or items and then travel back to the island?

No. At this moment we have only 1 map runs. That mean that if you run island then you can use all stuff only from island. But later i will add some new types of run.

First i will add soon "King of the beasts" run. You will need to tame (get babies) a representative of each type of creature on the current map. To solve this problem, you must also use the resources of only the current map (transfer does not allowed). Exception: titans (and titanosaur), mechanisms (mek, scout, ...), as well as those tameable creatures that, for some reason, cannot be tamed on the current map. This type of speedrun will be available only for default game settings (0.5 dino count on easy mode suck). The list of creatures will be in the rules.

In my the Island default run i get vegetables very quick. Also on SP with "Use default settings" turned on you need 1 hour to get 1 beer jar.

Also i need to test black pearl drop rate on SP and i will add that soon.

vegetables are not the problem but getting sth like cactus sap for cactus brew is with this rule on some maps impossible, which will increase the time by alot

Yes, agro range sometimes you really need decrease but you can not.

ok then another scenario if I play on a map, can I upload from obelisk and then respawn on the same map? could safe travel time cause you can instantly get items from obelisk areas to a crafting base with beds

That is fully allowed (for items, dinos and even character). I used that already on my runs before (but that was trash runs Lmao).

But when you restart run, please clear uploaded data from obelisks. Because when you clear maps data from the singleplayer's main menu it does don clean data inside transfer.
