Getting Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura 1.0.7.4 to run in windowed mode WITHOUT Unofficial Arcanum Patch or High Res Patch

• Download the game either from GOG or Steam

• Download the 'ddraw' .zip file from Resources. Delete ddraw.dll from your Arcanum game directory, and extract the ddraw.zip into the game directory to replace it.

• Download D3DWindower from here https://gbatemp.net/download/d3dwindower.28446/

• Extract to its own directory.

• Run D3dWindower.exe, making sure to Run As Administrator, and click the blue Plus button. Navigate to your Arcanum directory and select Arcanum.exe

• The game should be added to the main D3DWindower screen. Click the game, and click the tool folder. It should be three icons to the right of the blue Plus

• In the Common tab, set your height to 1920 and your width to 1080. Make sure 'Use Windowed Mode' is checked.

• At the bottom, in the DLL section, click 'Browse' and navigate to your D3DWindower directory and select the D3dHook.dll file

• Press 'Ok', and you should be back at the main window. You can double-click the game title to run the game via wrapper, and it should run in windowed mode via the dimensions that you set in the options.
