Step 1: Open run (windows key + R) and type the following: steam://open/console

Step 2: Now that the Steam console is open, type the following: download_depot 2014550 2014551 2743982283686712248 then press enter. Be patient as it may take some time.

Step 3: Navigate to the down-patched game in your Steam folder. Default location should be here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_2014550\depot_2014551 (Optional)

Step 4: If you want both the current patch and the down patch available simultaneously, create a text document in the above folder titled "steam_appid.txt" with the document solely containing the following: 2014550 (Note: If this is a problem, you likely named it steam_appid.txt.txt by mistake. It should default to .txt with the extension hidden)

Alternatively to all of the above, download the SteamDB extension (def on Chrome, but I don't know about other browsers). It'll automate some of the above instructions if you navigate to the manifest on the SteamDB page
