This guide only works on windows, for other operating systems, use a different method.

Requirements:

An internet connection, electricity, and the UESaveEditor tool.

Dont run it from the zip file to avoid issues.

0. Disable steam cloud

In steam, right click on One-armed robber in the library, then Properties -> general and turn off "Keep game's saves in the steam cloud for One-armed robber"

1. Editing money

For editing money, you do not need to downgrade and it works on the newer versions.

1. Open UESaveEditor and click open file

2. Go into your steam userdata folder, default is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata

3. Now, go into the folder corresponding to your steam account id. (if you do not know what your steam account id is, you can check on this website by inputting your profile link https://steamid.pro/)

4. Now go into the folder "2551020" and then "remote"

5. Open the file that ends in Cash.sav

6. In UESaveEditor, on the left, select "CashSave : IntProperty" and you will be able to edit the "CashSave" value, edit it to how much money you want. (also do this for "SecureCashSave : MapProperty" on the left"

Finished, start One-armed robber and you will have the money you added.

2. Editing skills

For editing skills, you need to downgrade and you also need a lot of money, follow the money steps and then continue.

To downgrade:

1. Open the steam console: Win+R -> steam://open/console

2. input the command "download_depot 2551020 2551021 8034872082437961625"

3. Wait until it finishes, it will tell you.

4. The downgraded version will be saved in (depening on your steam installation directory): C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_2551020\depot_2551021

These are the downgraded game files.

On steam, right click on one-armed robber in the library, then Manage -> Browse local files There will be your current one armed robber files, that the game starts,

either back these up or delete them, and put the downgraded files here, keeping the same file structure. You are now successfully downgraded.

Editing the skills after downgrading:

0. To edit the skills, you need to start researching them, open the game (after adding money) and start researching all the skills you want. (don't research the reviving skill, that one is broken) , then, close the game.

1. Open UESaveEditor and click open file

2. Go into your steam userdata folder, default is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata

3. Now, go into the folder corresponding to your steam account id. (if you do not know what your steam account id is, you can check on this website by inputting your profile link https://steamid.pro/)

4. Now go into the folder "2551020" and then "remote"

5. Open the file that ends in Level.sav

6. on the left, select "ResearchingSkillsSave : ArrayProperty"

7. on the right, edit all entries that start with Tier_ to the value "3" and all values that start with Progress_ to the value "100000"

8. Load into the game, and in the skills menu, you will see that the progress bars are bugged, do a couple heists (like 10x jewellery store) and you should see that they will become completed.

Now you can upgrade to newest version and have the skills.
