Shot modes

The highest priority mode is supershot mode. No matter what else if you're pressing the supershot trigger, have the ability unlocked and enough energy, you will be shooting supershot bullets.

Otherwise if you're on full health and have primordial crystal you will be in primordial mode.

Otherwise if you're on low health and have the rage module you will be in rage mode. (low health is 2 if you have over 5 hp, otherwise 1)

Otherwise you will shoot normal bullets.

Bullet count

Unsurprisingly each level of gun adds one bullet.

Rage doesn't affect the number of bullets.

In primordial mode the amount of bullets is set to 1.

Each upgrade of supershot adds two bullets to supershot. The added supershot bullets are exactly the same as normal supershot bullets.

Bullet damage

Base bullet damage is between 1 and 6 damage, evenly split into 6 levels (meaning each level gives 5/6, so about 0.83 damage). This is the damage of normal shots and supershots.

Rage shots multiply the base damage by 1.4.

Primodial shot multiplies the base damage by 19, no matter how many bullets you would shoot otherwise.

Fire rate

Base fire rate is between 5 and 13 shots per second, evenly split into 5 levels (meaning each level gives 8/5, so 1.6 shots per second). This is the fire rate of normal and rage shots.

Primordial shots fire 1.8 times slower than base fire rate (which is about 0.56 times faster).

Supershot fires 0.6 times slower (which is about 1.67 times faster).

Slow motion affects all of these by a factor that I didn't bother calculating yet.

Bullet speed

Base bullet speed is evenly spaced between 18 and 22, evenly split into 3 levels (meaning each level gives 4/3, so about 1.33 speed). This is the speed of all shots apart from burst which is not documented here.

Bullet range

Base bullet range is between 5.5 and 12.5, evenly split into 5 levels (meaning each level gives 7/5, so 1.2 range). This is the range of normal, rage and primordial shots.

Supershot has 1.2 times longer range.

Critical damage

Each bullet shot by the player has a chance to deal 5 times higher damage. The base chance to deal critical damage is between 0% and 15%, evenly split into 3 levels (meaning each level gives 5% crit chance).

This chance is then multiplied by 1/(FireRate - 5 + 1) in primordial mode or by 1/(FireRate - 5 + BulletNumber * 1.5) otherwise. For example with one bullet and lowest fire rate (5/s) this would multiply by about 0.67, and with five bullets and max fire rate (13/s) this would multiply by about 0.065.

In rage mode this chance is additionally multiplied by 2.5 (no matter the primordial status, but getting both is impossible in normal gameplay).
