Can we please move forward on creating sub categories that distinguish between runs that use exploits and clean runs and or runs that only do the main quest? Sub categories will help this community flourish instead of stifling growth by lumping all of our speed runs together and cramming us under one roof. Thank You.

I agree with @End415 on this one, It just makes sense and is probably the easiest way to resolve the issue at hand.

The Aetherella exploit is not in the spirit of a No Gums and Rage Off run. It’s negligent to not create a sub category that specifies that it was used. Alternatively you could put any speedruns that use Aetherella in the ANY% category. Allowing those runs to contest with runs that did not use that exploit or any other exploits or glitches and not properly categorizing them is amateurish.

i don't think aetherella is necessarily an exploit just good knowledge on bringing it to boss. its a game mechanic they intended for the game. so how would that be considered a glitch??

The 2 player no gums libertyfalls run build percent wr has a skip that's not possible anymore will this run get taken down as the skip is not possible anymore as me and my duo are going for wr with diff routes now bc of the change to either jump so we arnt able to get the wr as it's a not possible skip I'm jw from a wr stand point

Hello! I am running Liberty Falls and I noticed that the vast majority of the Liberty Falls Speedruns use the car skip. If the 2 player no gum previous record got moved into a prior patch category for doing car skip, the same thing should be done with the other ones in all of the categories that do it. Its such a time save that its unfair to keep them in the current patch.
