Not sure if anyone is even interested in speed running this game but I figured I'd put it into the world. Was landing at Weaver's Flourish on the second story balcony and was hover landing, holding down left stick and landing so you don't have any forward movement. Guess the game couldn't figure out where I needed to go and launched me north nearly off the cliff if I hadn't hit a pile of bamboo. With how insane the elevation is in this game I know someone out there can do something crazy.

That's interesting. Are you sure it was at Weavers Flourish? As far as I know, that spot doesnt have two stories.

I don't think it was Weaver's Flourish. It is pretty flat there, and only one story. Could you check which Navi camp it was?

You're right, definitely was not WF. I was doing the strange noise quest near Rising Stones so River's Run.

I took some trash phone pictures when it happened showing my Ikran in a different position than when I landed, and my launching angle. Can post them if anyone cares but they're pretty bad quality. I would have been facing east when I landed as I was coming in Southwest, but my Ikran had turned itself 90 degrees, facing south. I think when I was dismounted it tried to move my Ikran, not liking its landing position, and slapped me. It does seem to me like the landing system for Ikrans is similar to how climbing is used. It has certain markers near you that are designated when calling, like in Villages at Ikran landings, or outside of labs they're always to the left near the chair when called, but they also follow your cursor if they can. I think the game let me land somewhere it didn't like and then tried to correct my Ikran as I dismounted.

Also never said, I came in with some speed. Did a quick hard brake and spammed circle to land, landed right in front of the mushroom leading up to story right above ground not actual second story, sorry.

Just a quick confirmation, are you able to do a quick recording with the platform you are using? If so, then you can upload that video.

@TylerSmith, I made a video trying to replicate what you described. Is this similar to what you were doing when it happened? I didn't get any launches, but definitely some weird movement with the Ikran. :)

@Binslev Did what I could but still can't get him to land exactly where I was the first time. Tried to explain a bit about what I think happened as well. Excuse the potato quality I haven't configured my OBS :p

Out of nowhere happened to me again just now. Landing next to a bellsprig and shot me 200m straight South. I didn't have Instant Replay on again and I'm so upset. Not sure what happened this time..
