Is there a tutorial on how to perform Depression Skip (I don't know the timing on when to die instantly after dealing the final hit on Roland)? I searched on Google and Youtube but didn't find anything.
You can pause buffer by pressing resume in the pause menu, then quickly pressing pause again right after. Make sure to press resume, and not back out, as you won't be able to press pause again right after if you back out with b. You can repeat this for as long as you'd like until you feel like you hit the right timing, but the most consistent way to do it is to pause buffer until you are paused, and you can't see roland's healthbar, and pressing die instantly at this time. You can press it before he's completely dead, but you might press it too early if you don't do it by pause buffering. And most of all, when you do hit the timing, spam the crap out of the skip cutscene button until you see the game save, so you don't softlock :)
