Downpatch Guide

BE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR GAME FILES BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS

Step 1: Download DepotDownloader: https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader/releases/tag/DepotDownloader_2.3.6

Step 2: Extract DepotDownloader

Step 3: Go into the Folder that you extracted DepotDownloader and click the address bar.

Step 4: Type "cmd.exe" into the address bar and press enter.

A Command Prompt window should have opened and it should show the folder that DepotDownloader was extracted to in the window.

Step 5 : Find the version you want to download from SteamDB (you need the manifest ID): https://steamdb.info/depot/1097201/manifests/

Step 6: Plug the manifest ID, your steam username and password into this command line: dotnet DepotDownloader.dll -app 1097200 -depot 1097201 -manifest <ManifestID> -username <YourSteamUsername> -password <YourSteamPassword>

Step 7: Copy and paste the command into the command prompt window and press enter. (If you have steam guard enabled you'll have to enter the code)

Step 8: Wait for the download. It might look like it's frozen, but just be patient.

Step 9: Press Win+R to open a run window.

Step 10: Paste this into the run command and press enter: steam://open/console

Step 11: You should see the console tab open in steam. Go into that tab and copy and paste @AllowSkipGameUpdate 0 and press enter then paste @AllowSkipGameUpdate 1 and press enter.

This command keeps steam from updating games until you reset your client.

Step 12: Go to where the game is installed (Right click the game in your library, press properties, browse local files)

Step 13: Delete all the files in the folder.

Step 14: Copy all the files from the depots/1097201 and paste them into the steam folder that you deleted the game files from.

You should now be able to play the downpatched version of the game.

How to Make and Use Practice Saves - PC ONLY

You can find the game's save path here 

Steam: C:\Users\your user here\AppData\LocalLow\Nomada\Twelve Minutes

Microsoft Store: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\AnnapurnaInteractive.TwelveMinutes_c96c51jf6wkvm\SystemAppData\wgs\

Then you'll see your PC's username.savegame for instance mine is lazer.savegame

To use a save make sure to change the name of the file to be your PC's username.savegame then restart your game. You'll load into the game as if you just started the game in that loop.

You can also use this to back up saves.

Updated Continue Ending Route

Continue Ending Route **Updated (8/25)**

Hallway - Just keep clicking at the top of the screen fast so you don't stand still, click the plant as soon as you can,  get the rock out of the plant, open your inventory and click the rock, as soon as you click the rock in your inventory move your mouse to the top of the screen to open your inventory, and drag the key to the door. This skips him pulling the key out of his pocket and looking at it.

Loop 1 - Walk out immediately

Loop 2 - Grab Mug, go to the fridge to get the poloroid, go into the bathroom, fill with the sleeping pills in the cabinet, put mug with the pills in it on the big table, lay in bed. Wait until cop comes, turn lights on and off, hide in bathroom, open vent and get watch, then open door, handcuff cop, shoot cops arm, call bumblee, immediately click on him to talk to him immediately, ask what's going on (top option), ask about murder charges (middle option), ask why are you still after my wife (top option), ask about the tip (top option), ask how her father was murdered (top option), go back to previous options and click ask about the watch (2nd option), leave conversation, and leave the apartment.

Loop 3 - Go to fridge and grab the polaroid, click the polaroid and click off when he sayd "Wait", go into the closet and call bumblebee, then click the top then bottom option, tell wife about past (bottom option), tell wife about what's in the vent (bottom option), then choose what to prove it with, click the poloroid, then when she's done talking click on her again click talk about cop (top option), click explain connection (middle option), wait for cop (bottom option), go into the bahtroom, get the pocket watch, give her the polaroid, then give her the pocket watch, open the front door immediately dial health insurance (888-555-0111) but don't call them, the cop will pull you out of the phone but the number will still be typed out, when the cop is talking to the wife position yourself in front of the door, pull out the phone and click the green phone to call health insurance, stay on the line until he's about to leave, and walk out as the cop is leaving.

Loop 5/6 - In the flashback, pick the bottom option, alt+F4 as soon as the clock appears after the flash back, re-open the game and click continue, then when you regain control immediately go into the bathroom and hold the pocket watch. In the final flash back click the red book as soon as possible, then do nothing until the ending cutscene begins.
