Hi, Ampersand! That glitch is already Known by the Speedrunning Community. If you bonk into anything on the exact same frame you start the cutscene after knocking King Boo the 3rd time, the shine cutscene and the bonk cutscene overlap enough to cause a death. And as of why you spawn where you do, that's just because the spawn location is set to there.
(but good job finding it by yourself)
I think we can all agree that this game is a VERY good speedgame, that I'd even go as far to say compares with SM64. So specs the question, why isn't it as popular?
And more importantly, what can we do to increase that. That would be very nice, especially to have actual 100% competition beside Sek, April and myself (and maybe Lieutenant + Vertic in the future)
Can someone also describe the Eumulator's advantages and disadvantages over using Virtual Console? Or are they the same?
I've heard there is TAS Software known as LibTAS that only works on Linux. How can I make one that works on any Operating system, since I and many others have either Windows or Apple PC's?
Also, I've seen some SM63 ROM Hacks in the Resources, but I have no idea how to make one of my own. Can someone show me how to do it?
