@MODS diablo category extensions when?
Ok so I tried my best timing the difference between Duped Monster and Duped Highjack and I calculated Monster Dupe to be about ~90 seconds faster. If anyone cares and wants to look for themselves here you go: (vod is going to be up idk how long). Also my calculation is assuming that everything [that I did] could be done faster.
The route that I based it off would be the standard SF mission call hold route - om0 ST > 0¤ Glitch > om0 ICK > om0 P69 > Duped TLF. Obviously less call holding you do, more time you lose.
Perhaps if there was some faster way to do Highjack then the route would be faster.
So I've finally failed ES dupe in full game, first time in ~10 attempts. Although I still think that it should be more consistent in full game than it is in IC runs so I'll continue to do it.
Mutt can you actually answer the question already that people ask you in this thread, because for some reason you keep going around it.
i dont see the problem here unless ryedwag declines or does malicious things to mutt's runs - which there is currently no idication of. Mutt will you explain yourself?
Similar rules to the other full game categories will apply. However, since co-op is not so popular, I think the emulator restriction can be ignored, at least for now.
OG Loc - obv when trying to highjack the dude instead of shooting him.
Life's a Beach - when entering the beach area. (heard that it has somethin to do w/ the game not being able to spawn grove street npcs?)
Doberman - up the road fro the screenshot in Patrick's post. similar thing - fall of the bike, get up, and then crash.
Robbing Uncle Sam - ive had a crash there before as well after the mission end.
Wear Flowers in Your Hair - had a crash in the large turn in around/before the helipad numerous times. Also had a crash on the way to pick up Zero, around the Deconstruction mission area.
Just because you've done a run w/ some restrictions doesn't mean that it deserves a lb category. Lkeweise, just because some category doesn't have an lb, doesn't mean you shouldn't run it.
Did tests between Xbox and PS2 and their movement speed is about the same but obviously I have not come across the movement glitch on PS2.
I did 2 tests and movement was about the same between Xbox and PS2, and from that video in the main thread (which I'll post in as well) it would mean that it's about the same w GC IMQHO.
Another interesting thing happened
Only thing I can think of is the forklift exploding; but twice in a row, really? The only time I've gotten it explode was when i flipped it myself; but here i didn't even touch it.
Ok I can confirm that the forklift can easily run into the bigass truck so kill the dude before he does it.
So i think what happened here is that I received a call mid air. I ended up still having the call, later.
You find some spot to park the bike and when the truck spawns the bike is still there but is pushed away because the truck is in the way but it's not in the way so much that it despawns it or pushes it into the ground.
The box in the image is the truck and the red lines are sample locations of how you could park the bike.
Going to BS after IC to setup FIAB dupe is at least 40s faster.
About ES dupe. there is some spot for sure but it's tricky. I've gotten it to work only once but failed to take a screenshot of it (the bike was there and it was stuck in the ground). Another possibility if the bike MOVES but not in ground but I'm not sure how effective that is. At this point I am convinced that if the bike disappears it does not do anthing.
This is very basic overview of what I'm talking about.
OK so the question is: Does the bike even affect that truck during Explosive Situation? I have a thought that it does not.
Imagine putting all the time into "doing" this "run" and not even doing the most optimal route unironically.
Is ES dupe very inconsistent? When I was learning it and I figured out some spot it worked but lately I can't get it to work at all. I'm using this spot atm and it's like 50/50 if it works or doesn't.
