So I know I said I was gonna do Ultra Hard with either Steve or Combot, and I actually did it with both of them and got them on recording. But neither of them went as planned. With Combot, I got stuck on level 2 and it ended up taking 50 minutes, so I just quit out. The Steve one, which I did last night, went a lot better; I got a 52:09:14. I wasn't satisfied with this run, though, since I lost the Heihachi fight like two times. Looking back at the recording I felt that the reason was that Steve doesn't have very many good lows or grabs, so today I decided to do this one with Heihachi also. It went a lot better! I was pretty close to getting a sub 30, but I fucked up and had to do stage 4 again, which cost me ten minutes. Still, it's the second-best time I've actually got on recording. I know for a fact that a sub 30 is possible, because immediately after this run I did another with Steve on Easy, and got a 27:06:91. I didn't record it, but I did take a picture of the timer I used. I can definitely lower my other times, since I know a bunch of new tricks now.
