If you've watched a speedrun and noticed the game was further zoomed out than normal that is because the runner made their game display at a higher resolution. This video made by Terpretor explains how to allow stardew to display at higher resolutions on a standard 1080p monitor. Note - This only works for computers with Nvidia graphics cards. There are methods to do something similar with AMD but this video wont discuss them.
