Is pauseing/pause-buffering allowed in IL's?

I mean it doesn't directly save time, but it can make executing sections way easier, and since you ended up beating it way slower in actual time i thought it might be debatable, but thanks for the replies!

Yup, pause buffering is definitely allowed, Qwerty! All that matters in terms of time is the in-game timer. (Obviously the mods won't be too happy if you take a twenty minute pause in the middle of an IL, but I assume that's not why you're asking. XD)
