Yesterday, I have been trying to do a pipe clip for 2 hours. I even tried creating my own TAS to see if it can do it and I can replicate the inputs. The TAS failed. No success. Anyone have a tutorial on pipe clip?

Also, I did try some tutorials online. None worked

How to do the pipe clip in 1-2?

1. You must play through the level without slowing down at all. The reason you can't slow down is that this will change your subpixel position, which can make the clip harder or even impossible.
2. You must land before the pipe, release B to slow down to walking speed, do a one frame jump.
3. To finish up, you must scroll the screen to load the warp zone correctly into world 4. If you don't, you'll end up in the minus world. Jump out of the wall and hit the world 2 pipe to maintain momentum. Jump the frame you land so that Mario can't turnaround; Mario accelerates faster in the direction opposite of the direction he's facing. You'll lose the framerule if you don't.

You don't need to be doing 1-2G until you have a seriously good time. (4:56.8xx or lower, in my opinion.)

Ok so I got fully into the block, but when I landed, it pushed me out no matter what

that means you didnt really clip into the block fully inside. maybe hold left longer?

I tried holding left longer but mario walked out of the block

and also, if I try to jump earlier or later, mario doesn't go into the block

try pressing left at different times. maybe you pressed left too early

Here is my TAS. I always try to do bugs with TAS first. please tell me what I did wrong. Also the right press when I am inside the pipe does not affect the glitch, i tested it.

you walked on the ground for multiple frames. you have to walk on that perfect spot for 2 frames to slow mario down, then do the 1-2g.
