I have a problem. My game starts correctly, but in game sounds are off! Intro movies play with sounds, but in game nothing happens!
I use 1.8 patch. Someone have idea to solve this?

with discord you can just use it as an IM ( instant messenger) or you can click on a channel and you will be able to voice chat with others OpieOP
Looking at the discordapp, the iso I found is exactly the same size as I already have.
What will be the problem that goes without sound? The films in the introduction produce sound, the game does not. I have windows 10 64 bit and I use the Bio1_8 patch by Biosoft.bat
I have a virtual machine with windows xp for other purposes, but I tried copying the biohazard installed for it and it worked normally. The only problem to run like this is that the transitions happen a little slower than normal and, because windows is 32 bits, I can not use the livesplit ...

@xxshadowxbossxx, I tried run in 95, 98 and XP SP2, game works normal in all this modes, but all with no sound...
Probably is an compatibility issue. My sound card is fine. Starting fine all other applications.
When I running with the patch, starting with biosoft.bat
i would recommend re downloading the game and/or going back into setup i would recommend watching stevenmaytes video tutorial on how to set the game up ( i will link the video below for you) hopefully this will resolve your issue

Try reinstalling the game from scratch and make sure you check everything in the setup (that includes audio files and such)

The windows menus are in Brazilian Portuguese (where I live), but you can understand that I change the compatibility for Windows 95.
When the image turns black it is because Windows prompts you to run the program.
have you redownloaded the game? have you watched stevenmaytes tutorial ? have you tried running it in administrator mode ? we are all trying to help we just need to know what you have done fully so we can try other methods to get the game working for you
Yes. I downloaded and followed the instructions of StevenMayte and also downloaded the ISO that has in discordapp (which is the same ISO).
I have already tried to run as administrator and with all possible compatibility modes in windows 10.
I already installed and reinstalled 100x!
I do not know what to do anymore ... :(
