Hi, I've recently been trying to get into speedrunning this game, however I don't know how to record my Wii off of my TV! Do I even connect it to my TV or another device? If you could please tell me what to do here I would appriciate it! Thanks!

Someone else could tell you how to do it easier, but I just set up a device and aim it at the TV, and start filming

You can either do what lilbroski does or you can buy a capture card, that’s really the only way. Just keep in mind wii u is hdmi so if your buying a capture card make sure it’s compatible

thanks, I'll try to record the tv, my one question is how would I put a timer on there? Do I need one? Or can I just film without the timer.

I film without a timer, the length of the video is really all you need, just make sure you make the video not much longer than the run

Or at least start the video 2 seconds before your run starts.
