Edit: problem solved, check my next comment

In Episode 4, chapter 4 Rescue the Princess, there's a bug in which Obi-Wan should use force to make you a bridge after you've killed the troopers that are in front of him. But sometimes he doesn't appear, at least not instantly. In some cases he appeared like 1 minute later though, but that's bad for speedrunning :( Has anyone encountered this bug before and know how to fix it? I'm playing on PC, in Steam.

Sometimes what I find fixes it, is if you follow obi. Let me see if I can explain. Obi jumps over the pit right, and after that you can't follow him anymore? Go right up to the edge of that pit, and two stormtroppers will attack you. If you kill the two stormtroppers, proceed as normal. Sometimes I find that that fixes it, and obi will come out right after you kill all the troopers on the ledge.

we should test all platforms and find which ones this glitch exists on and then work out the fastest backup to fix it

I think I found a fix, could someone with the same problem test it? the thing is to go through the door a few times, maybe to reset Obi-Wan's position or something dunno but it works for me :D
