Equipment Upgrades:

1. Personally I first upgrade right before the Slimer fight in the Ballroom. Up until this point In Any%, I scaned Slimer, Pappy, Black Slime, the Fish Flyers, the Tutoral Artifact and the Service Bell, and I usually have enough to get my upgrades.

Blast Stream Focusing (Optional)

• I'm sure you can get away with not getting this upgrade. I just like the like more accuracy it gives you.

Fast Trap (MUST)

• This upgrade will save time over the time of the speedrun and is a must get early.

2. The next time I upgrade is in Time Square after you unlock the Boson Dart.

Boson Dart Supercharge (MUST)

• It increases your damage and reduct the heat, so again it saves time over time on "reloading".

3. Right before your first fight with the book golem in The Library.

Shock Blast Recharge Increase (MUST) -Shoot More Shotgun.

Shok Blast Heat Reduction (MUST) -Shoot Even More Shotgun.

4. (Optional) After fighting Eleonor Twitty, I like to pick up these but I don't think you need them.

Slimer Blower Pressure Increase (Optional)

• Increases the range and damage.

Reduced Slime Consumption (Opiontal)

• Slime More.

Slam Dunk Trapping (Optional, Only Here in 100%)

5. Right when you unlock the Meson Collider.

Meson Collider Penetration (MUST) Meson Collider Accelerator (MUST) Overload Pulse Accelerator (MUST) Overload Pulse Enhancer (MUST) Slam Dunk Trapping (Optional but recommended)

6. Now if your doing 100% you'll need to unlock everything. I normally do that after the stone angel fight.

Speerun Strats:

1. Movement and Positioning

• There's a way to keep your run stamina longer if you add a jump after a couple of seconds of running. I normal count to 3 and jump and ran, count to 3 and jump, ect.
• Always position yourself to the next exit/objective while fighting ghosts.
• Ghost spawns aren't random, learning where they spawn really helps.
• When you have the chance, throw your trap into a wall and pull the ghost into the wall. It makes it easier to catch the ghosts. Sometimes if wedge your trap into a doorways or some objects (like the display in the civil war room), you can catch ghosts alittle fast than normal.

Tip 1:

• Is the AI doesn't say their voice lines right away, just throw a trap at them.
