Helpful only for routing and general understanding

Certain actions weaken the werewolf and with more stamina lost less people die. Every 10% of stamina remaining is a dead villager and 5% is a bitten villager and a longer results screen. Endings are as follows (and fastest ways to get them, WIP):

1. A Blood Bath (0% stamina lost) - 10 casualties, werewolf killed
2. A Slaughter (5-20%) (rope) - you get a newgrounds achievement
3. A Carnage (25-40%) (rope+chain)
4. A Massacre (45-50%) (rope+chain+block the door+lock the window) - werewolf wounded, you get a newgrounds achievement
5. A Night of Terror (55-70%) - you get a newgrounds achievement
6. A Frightful Night (75-95%) - werewolf unharmed, you get a newgrounds achievement
7. A Calm Night (100% progress) - no one harmed, you get a newgrounds/trilogy achievement

If you get an ending you get all achievements for all endings that are worse and you can get all of them by playing only once and getting the Calm Night. That's probably why trilogy kept only 1 achievement from this game.

Sources of stamina reduction/progress:

• rope=10%
• chain=15%

Fastest sources of progress if you're going for a certain bad ending

• closing door+window (tier1 exits)=5%
• locking door with a key+locking window(tier2 exits)=20%
• shelf'd door+plank'd window(tier3 exits)=35%
• shelf'd door locked by key+locked plank'd window=(tier4 exits)=50%

Werewolf always uses the least defended exit so unless both are defended none are defended. You can "plank" the door but it has the exact same effect as blocking it with the shelf (and he's gonna break the window that's stuck on tier 2 now).

• potion containing root=0%
• meat on the hook=5%
• drinking the potion=15%
• meat on the hook combined with a working potion=25%

The recipe is the note in the fireplace room. If you click on the left side of the zoomed in note it will show another note that hints at the fact you shouldn't use root. You can't fill the bottle unless the pot has 3 ingredients in it and there are only 4 if you include the root.
