the funny thing is that this post was still useful to me even though I'm nowhere close to top 25 in any category because I did not know this feature exists now. very useful, thank you

You can now submit runs to the leaderboard and they will be verified (or rejected) as there is now an active moderator! Have fun bhopping!
Portal Softlock%
you have to soft lock yourself somehow, and have ILs for each level it's possible in. This is a 00 run using a Vault Save.

Yes, changing the texture quality to low (also changing mat_picmip in the developer console which does the same thing) is allowed, although not recommended if you use strats that use texture lineups.
It probably wouldn't as it being easier to shoot at would be an advantage over other players using the vanilla textures. Sorry.
Floor and wall texture changes are entirely banned. Other texture changes that would not give you an advantage are allowed. You can also change the texture of your portal gun (or disable it entirely with r_drawviewmodels 0). The exact rules for texture changes are below.
Any wall or floor texture changes are not allowed. Other texture and sound file changes are allowed as long as they would not give an advantage. Cosmetic and size changes for fonts in "SourceScheme.res" are allowed.
basically what the title says. I can't see my steps/portals/time when playing challenge mode on Source Unpack. It might be caused by me downloading a modified HudLayout file from this post: Portal - Forums - how to put your nickname on the screen like in sourceruns? - Speedrun
However it says the 'ScorePanel' is visible and enabled, but I don't know if that's the right thing.
Is this just a thing in Source Unpack or is it because of that modified HudLayout file? Because I can still see those stats when I play on SteamPipe which I don't have a modified HudLayout file on.
TL;DR: Just what the title says.
Putting your FoV over 90 was added much later than version 5135 (which is the Unpack build #) so it is not technically possible. However, a plugin called SST or Source Speedrun Tools should be in the resources section of Portal, which allows you to make your FoV much higher. This is within the rules and values between 75-120 are accepted, however, you cannot have binds to change your FoV during a run, so it has always to be the same amount during the run.
.bat is a Windows Shell file meaning you shouldn't be able to run it on Linux at all without programs. Same with .exe wouldn't work with Linux because it's a Windows Executable file.
So I found out that I actually have it downloaded, it was just hidden lol. I can add a new download link, though.
I can't find it anywhere, i looked for it all places I can think but I cant find it
:(
The download in the resources section has a doc that leads to a removed google drive file and I can't find the mod anywhere online except a deleted moddb mod. Is there anyone who can reupload this mod or is it dead?
