Pakistani agree, you can just add 2 timing methods for full game runs with loads and without loads. Also I just took a look at the rules and they use a stopwatch for timing runs, this is really inaccurate because of human error with a stopwatch, so please use an accurate retiming method for runs
there are no rules, please make rules soon. Also your run of Levels - Act 1 is most likely timed incorrectly for how you time runs for this game as you just used the timer where you just try and time the click before and after the run which isn't fully accurate for ms retiming, ms retiming should use a frame retimer.

the rules have been nerfed only requiring either, click counter or click sounds + in-game audio and these are a necessity in ensuring the legitimacy of runs. Without these rules icey or someone like otaku could just come back as an alt and cheat as they did before or anyone for that matter. Doing absolutely nothing after what icey and otaku has=ve done would be incredibly illogical as it would be inevitable that something like icey/otaku would happen again

One last thing i want to say, I'm not the only moderator there was 2 other super mods, 2 other verifiers almost every single decision is not solely up to me but a combination of other moderators + community votes from the discord server linked to speedrun.com
No, you must the maps in order from house (chapter 1) to plant (chapter 12) or for book 2 alleys (chapter 1) to lab (chapter 12)
yeah sorry about that, runs are assigned to different moderators, that one specific mod just ignored it because of the length but we're going to verify it soon
There isn't much to it just flick clip how do you flick clip well flick your camera 180 degrees and jump at the same time other then that just follow what the world record does
@barh @SG_masterpigman You both bring up pretty good points and here's the changes we're going to make
1: Removing full session, Even though here you say that the rule is useful and decent we've decided to remove it as its not as necessary as other rules in helping determining the legitimacy of a run
2: For in-game audio we're removing it only if you use a click counter, if you use audible clicks you'll still have to use it, the rule is not useless as it helps in detirming splices, yes you can splice single map runs and its not very hard either so it is very useful but if you're using a click counter you have to include meters and pixels and its almost impossible to splice with those
3: As for the ping rule, We're putting that on hold and removing that temp until a more convenient way is found to show the ping, again this rule is not at all useless it helps a lot with determining the legitimacy of a run as you can first check click delays for audible clicking if someone is faking them, secondly with odoplus you can check release times of grabs, imagine if a someone is using a program where it works the same as a double clicker, but clicks once you can easily get away with this but with ping you can check how long they held and release their mouse for.
other takes: I'm not sure about the manual double clicking, probably in the middle with this one just unfortunate how abused it is. I agree the rules are really messy and we're working on rewriting them.

To show up ping you can either press Shift + F3, or you could press Esc, then click settings, and turning "Performance Stats" on. Additionally, All World Records require all POVs, Top 3 Duo runs additionally require both point of views to include in-game audio, Duo World Records also require both players to submit a full session and have audible clicks or odoplus click counter, Trio and Squad World Records must include full session, In game audio, and click counter or audible clicks for the specific routes listed under category rules.

do not put your time into "in-game time" instead put it in time ONLY.
The reason why the in-game time exists while submitting runs is because of all chapter runs which use both for timing as one adds up the time spent in each map (in-game time for all chapter runs) and other overall time including intermission cutscenes etc (time for all chaps)
we've locked this thread a lot of time I think the src update messed with it
