Are you referring to full-game runs? Cus I still think we should just not allow clock manipulation with pause-skips. That way we could use IGT pretty easily for individual levels at least.

Full-game is a little more difficult so I'm not sure there. I don't see a great way to reconcile that. I am a slave to the community tho, so whatever we think is best.

Alright guys I think it's fair to say that while IGT is better for individual level, pause strat should not be allowed. I know dialogue is annoying but if a strategy is slower irl by this much, it isn't really speedrunning per-se. Unless there is any serious objection, I will be removing all the runs that used pausing to manipulate the IGT.

The reason I wanted individual chapters is because without them, the only runs people would ever do are IL and Story-mode any% (which I well definitely add, seems like the most obvious category!)

Individual chapters was actually inspired by the format of LEGO speedrunning, if you are familiar. Instead of playing the whole game you would just have to complete all mandatory levels. But yea, I don't think it's a great run if you have access to NG+.

I think it's fair to get rid of some of these categories. Nobody is gonna run Gauntlet mode 100% and even if they did it would just be teleporting to the end goal and no actual fighting. I'm also tempted to say no one will do mystic weapons but then again, I might do it... I will also clean up the categories with Co-op and stuff once I get back from vacation. Also, not sure about three different survival runs.

IGT seems like a better standard, but if you can manipulate igt easily then we'd have a problem. So I'm not sure about that.

I also desperately want to add a run for each character, since there's so much diversity on the roster and it encourages using weaker characters. I started adding individual mystic weapons to Misc. but truthfully, that may be way too excessive.

Hey everyone following, is there any interest at all in this game? There never was much to begin with, but I think if we added catagories like individual chapters or maybe something with individual characters mystic weapons?

Idk, I'll continue on by myself if need be, but I was hoping even for a couple more pals to do it with.
