The only difference I believe is the Japanese vs English text in the dialogue screens. As far as gameplay, should be the same. Good luck!
I've added a 1-loop category and posted rules for each category. Given the few (if any) differences I've noticed between Beginner & Professional, I'm requiring all runs be done in 'Professional' mode as the WR has completed. Inclusion of Beginner categories will be considered down the road.
Following up on my previous request, I have submitted a run for Flying Dragon: The Secret Scroll for the NES console in hopes of becoming a Moderator so I may add some additional categories to (hopefully) peak the interest of future runners. The game currently has no Moderator. Thank you.
I would like to request moderation rights for Flying Dragon: The Secret Scroll for NES. Have been in contact with the previous mod (jeffsledge) who informed me that he has removed his duties from this game because he no longer has time for it. I'm pretty well versed in the game/rules for this game & speedrun so feel free to contact me if you have further questions. I will work on getting some sort of run done this week if a submission is required.
I don't know of one that exists. I honestly started keeping my own lists as I played and still to this day don't know all of the answers. Truth be told, I haven't encountered probably 50% of the Whatchamacallits mentioned in the GameFAQs list, so take it with a grain of salt.
I think those are both great ideas and I personally would fully support both categories. Perhaps even an Any% All-Star could be introduced...
