What are the job descriptions for the Technical and Graphical?

I was wondering since there are people who have ran the SNES version of that game if anyone has ran, thought about, or at least looked into strategies, for this game?

It would seem like a rather interesting game to speed run. I just don't know if anyone actually looked at this classic game as well? Let alone if it's one of those scenarios like my MLB idea...It would be too much of a marathon to actually take part in...

On second thought let me recant on my idea. Just did some quick timed tests to see how long it might take.

With my settings set to basically cancel out most extracurricular things (cut-scenes, AI at bats to the bare minimum, and base running to only be if you're the lead runner), it reads out like this:

Per game = ~4m:30s to ~6m:30s Per week = ~25m to ~30m (depending on how many days off and how many possible pinch-hitting days, roughly about 2 days a week)

Per month (the Per Week x 4) = ~100m (1hr:40m) to ~120m (2hr)

So that would make the Per Year cycle roughly turn out to roughly = ~1200m (or roughly 20hrs) to ~1440m (or roughly 24hrs)!

Supposedly, it takes at least 2 years and that's IF you are completely lucky, in a VERY thin position in any MLB team, and the guy above you (AAA or MLB) somehow gets injured enough to warrant a hot-shot progression up the ladder. That could end up being over 48hrs (more likely over that with all the upgrading and possible training sessions involved), and that's just lucky enough to head up from AA to AAA!

Needless to say, unless someone could pull of a miracle, it would be completely out of the question for a speed run. Sadly. I guess this is the issue with sports games in general for these player/coach career modes. They seem to make is so that it takes forever to progress (more like trying to sucker you into purchasing skill points). So, at this point, disregard the idea.

I haven't seen any way to find a short-cut outside of hitting/pitching lights-out for an extended period of time (INCREDIBLY unlikely with how the game ramps up difficulty from the AA-MLB), and I don't feel like dying from even trying this.

So, this place is pretty weak with the games it hosts?

Actually first time here, so this is also an introduction. Hi!

Anyway, like the title says, I have this wild urge to speedrun MLB:The Show 2014, but mainly the Road to the Show part of the game.

I'm thinking it would be interesting as you could do various categories. Something like:

• AAA% (Make it to playing in the AAA Leagues)
• MLB% (Make it to the Major Leagues)
• All Star% (Make it to the MLB's All Star game)
• Home Run% (Make it to the MLB's All Star Home Run Derby)

Or anything more (Any%, Playoff%, or GOAT% (making it to the Hall of Fame)).

What I'm trying to figure out is if anyone had ever thought to try this out? Has anyone else actually tried any of this? I would like to hear about this, because I've heard that Pitchers (especially closers/relievers) are the quickest way to get to the MLB in these games.

Either way, thanks and I'll go look around. But I am thinking that this sort of deal would be cool, but possibly brutally long.
