It's a game I mod and hold the WR for. That time is 13:16, but I'd say a decent beginner time would be 17-19 minutes

The browser game There Is No Game is really quick once you learn the game

Another way would be going into a editing software like Final Cut Pro and making a note of the time when the run starts, since you can frame advance, and then do the same at the end. That's the way you do it if you wanna go completely out of the way

Even if your PC is bad, you can always run browser games. Obviously since I'm mod of Moto X3M I'm gonna plug it here but there are plenty of others as well. They're usually pretty short, and easy to run. For WiiU, like others have said, you could always run VC games and Wii games.
