I've been really tempted lately to use Flame Chaser just for Golden Silver to get a quicker kill. Seems safer than hoping for good dice rolls.

I usually just try to time my dives at them, if you time it properly, they die and you take no damage and keep going. If you grind it a bit, you can get the timing down. If you notice that your timing is slightly off, you can dive attack them for the kill and have time to jump to the left and then continue without the explosion damage.

I've been watching some of the higher position leaderboard videos lately, trying to pinpoint various spots in the game that I can improve. While watching Darbian's run, I noticed that his time in the VOD is a 15:18.7 but on the leaderboard it is listed as a 15:06.

Just curious if I've been doing my timing wrong or if there's something I'm missing.

I really, really hope that some sort of manipulation is found for Dice Palace. That would blow the door wide open for a more optimized run and lower times. Dice Palace seems to be the hinge for me to get my time lower. A buddy of mine and I have been experimenting on and off for the past month or so, trying to find ¤something¤ but there seems to be nothing concrete for us yet. Will definitely update if we find anything definitive ourselves.
