Based on the feedback given over the past few days, it appears people were never fully accepting of adopting an fps cap. The vote that was done on the issue didn’t include the option for no cap, was done prior to testing how significant different FPS caps would have on the ability to beat current records, and the vote included people who don’t run the game. I think its best that the rules be reverted back to the way they were prior to when this discussion began. Given the most recent voting on the forum, the mods and others are in general agreement that the cap is not for the best. Sorry for any confusion this has caused, future rule changes (if any ever occur) will be done more slowly.

In short - no more fps cap now.

Is this the next major discovery? Absolutely brutal, warps protagonist to their home. In this video its Micahel to his house but so far it works everywhere. For example after Hood safari Trevor warps to Floyd's house and after By the book Trevor warps to Floyd's house again. etc This needs massive testing

So basically if you go over kerbs (i guess americans call it curbs) it boosts your speed. I personally didnt know about it until someone gave me this video, starts from 6:40

I havent tested how much it saves with random cars in single player but it does feel a bit faster. Who knows how much you can save it with untuned car etc. feel free to test.

Is anyone interested in Online heist speedruns ? Criminal mastermind%, single heist runs, simply all heists etc. All we need need is a crew, i guess most likely on pc since nobody is doing that on consoles or its hard to get one on the same console as you.

If anyone is interested doing that on pc , that would great. :)

Yeah so recenty we started to look more into how helicopter could help us and already there are few options. Anyway we need to find all police/hospital heli locations adn make a map, then test if any of those helicotpers are usefull. :)

Updfate 1: So i did few time attacks using heli strats after marriage counseling, its definatelly slowert if you are using it for 1 mission. After the mission helicopter despawns for me no matter wherei out but for Dekap it didnt, so i dont know why it iss happenign to me. I placed the heli in a pretty good position.

For me it looks like helicopter spawns are poure RNG and it doewsnt matter what time or day it is (hospital and police helicopters). Spent a bit time looking for locations. Used this video .

Update 2: Looks like heli strats during Masks/Hotel Assasination and first section for MerryWeather heist is not much faster then usual strats. I i used Franklins black jeep then i lost more then minute compared to helicopter, but tasxi was only 15 seconds slower thyen helicopter. The risk with helicopter seems a bit too much to save 15 seconds, but if you have a bad car rng then heli is a good backup strat. Someone else needs to test this with a timer.

If you have any ideas, then post them here :). For now i cant see where we could use police/hospital helicopters.

So yeah sorry if this exist somewhere, couldnt find it. Anyway i havent streamed a pc game using 2 monitor setup. As you know when playing in fullscreen on primary monitor, the game will minimize when clicking onto the second one. DragoonClawnz gave a programm called Cursor Lock. It locks the mouse to my primary monitor which is great but i cant acces my second monitor to type something in the chat etc. , maybe i am doing something wrong with hotkeys but it i can move mouse only when i alt+tab.

Then i discovered a programm called - Actuall Multiple Monitors which does excatrly what i want, i havent downloaded and tested yet. Anyways guys, what are you using to game on one monitor and use second monitor for chatting while streaming?

One more thing, i want to play fullscreen and my capture card captures my monitor. Games like sanandreas doesnt have windowed mode as far as i know, atleast without mods or smth. So sorry for noobish topic. Hope somebody can explain me all this.
