Since there is still no rules (or categories) after months, I've decided to suggest some. Some things to note: There will be a minigolf physics overhaul. It has been promised for months, with nothing done with it since February. The solution to this, is the exact same thing as ballrace, have the old runs go to Misc / Dead category. https://trello.com/c/NB2XTHLi/331-minigolf-physics-rewrite
The other thing to note: There isn't categories set up, so please add a category for each map. I don't think I'll personally run all of the minigolf courses back to back, as I don't enjoy some of the courses, with or without speedrunning them. (looking at you sweet tooth) But I'm not sure what other people will want, maybe some people will run all the courses at once.
Okay so now onto the actual ruling suggestions: For all single courses: Use RTA (Real Time Attack) Timer starts when you click "Finished" or the timer runs out, at the "Customize Your Ball" screen. Timer Ends when the ball lands in the 18th hole. Video Proof is required for all runs on the leaderboard. (its 2018, and this game is only on PC, personally I recommend plays.tv) You must complete all 18 holes in the course. (Similar to ball race's rule where you can't kill yourself 3 times) You must play alone for the duration of the run. (it's always going to be faster this way)
Now "all courses" should have the same rules. Timer starts when you click "ready" or the timer runs out, at the "Customize Your Ball" screen. But ends when you complete the last hole of the last course. Courses can be done in any order, but all eight (8) courses have to be done.
These are just my suggestion for the rules. They match up similar to ball race, while having reliable ways to split. I would love if people gave feedback, and put their own suggestions as rules in the comments, because right now, we got none. Thank you for your time.
Is anything going to happen to this leaderboard?? I've been speedrunning Waterhole for a while now, and have a pretty solid real time attack. I would love if this leaderboard was updated, or at least cared about. You cant just not put in rules for 2+ months.

Title. This applies for every category. Is this intended? My guess is it's not, but I would like to bring up the subject. My guess is that it was overlooked, a mod will see this post, and fix it. Just delete this thread if that is the case <3
4 is the way to go (IMO). Although its a little longer as a name, it clears up any confusion. Honestly don't like the idea of it being called 1, because it implies like you have to complete the Recycle Plant mission.
Allow it. Don't see it being a huge time save in Trevor%. But Trevor% is an obsolete run, so with the focus on Classic, 100, and any%'s iFruit is a great tool.

Title. The only way to actually beat out the WR is if you play on a double XP weekend, or achieve double XP any other way. This is makes the run to difficult to do. My suggestion is make 2 sub categories, one with the XP boost and one without.
What about radar always on? And Killcams being turned off, I see runs with both of these already confirmed...
But what makes ryedawg "right" for the head role? His experience running a community? How he acts in the community? Or What he has done positive in this community? Again, pretty new here, so what makes Ryedawg qualified for the position? Other then "oh I changed things its better now" because the small changes are not enough for me.
Now I just feel like ive been attacked by the head mod. Wow you just made some huge assumptions. Lets break this down.
Know that if you had a problem with the times, bring it up to a moderator. If that moderator didn't help, go to another one. Bug them until something changes, instead of just sitting back and waiting to strike on destroying the mod team. Nobody complained about the times, and if people did (multiple people calling out the mistakes) it would of gotten changed under the old moderation. You seemed the only one that I can see that was upset by it, so why not make more noise about it?
The next thing I would love to address is this quote. "instead of white knighting your favorite streamer why not come up with arguments that are not just ryedawg sucks i want daddy to be mod" I feel like this is harassment. There is so much wrong here. First I am a Toriks watcher, I am subbed to only Toriks (not matt, not DV) so saying that I'm white knighting my favorite streamer is completely wrong. Heck I have less then 20 hours in his stream, with over 60 in Toriks. I love how instant defensive you got though. I am not here to give DV what he wants, I am here to try to help the V speedrunning community. The fact that the headmod would treat someone's first post with such hate and aggressiveness blows me away. I have been one of the only people in this thread to offer a solution, and yet your making assumptions about me, without even seeing me before. Sad, just sad. You are not helping your case ryedawg.
Here is my two cents. (as a 1 month trevor% vet)
The fact that you guys let ryedawg into being head mod, without contacting the previous mods just straight up doesn't make sense. It's very very clear by this thread that there were old mods that cared. (specifically DarkViper) Running the game for multiple years, and still doing it almost everyday is insane. Now our new headmod hasn't run the game in years? That is crazy IMO.
There is clear things that ryedawg has made bad choices for. The starting bonus DLC opinions come to mind. Again, I'm pretty new to running V, but hearing about ryedawgs past, makes him 100% unsuitable for being the head mod. Once a shitposter, always a shitposter.
My next point is about Toriks. Toriks has clearly shown and not shown interest in being a mod. I think he is at a point where if he is a mod, he will do the work for it. But if he isn't a mod, its fine by him. He doesn't care about it, but he'll help out the community. That's the kind of guy Toriks is. Ryedawg apparently sees this, and got gullible Toriks to back this movement. Toriks was an easy "partner" for ryedawg, and ryedawg knew this. What it looks like to me is that ryedawg just wants power, and respect in a community that he never had that in, but now he found the opportunity.
So here is my solution. Give ryedawg a shot at moderation. Give Darkviper head (if he wants it after all this) because he has the EXPEREINCE and leadership already proven. Toriks can be on the team if he would like to. The huge issue is the lack of communication to the former mods. Honestly, going back to this all looks like a power struggle for ryedawg.
