That would mean complete route and strategy changes from Any% Glitchless, but it seems fun to route if anyone wants to do it.
What I do is I put my photo on twitter and link the tweet with the picture. But either way works.
Hotkeys for what? The timer or the gameplay? I'm confused.
By that, do you mean complete the Unova Dex only as close as possible on one save file without trading or connecting to another game? That's sounds extremely long. But go for it if you want. The Unova Dex in B2W2 has about 390 Pokemon (including the Pokemon you have to choose from, such as the starters)
It's okay. All new speedrunners ask these questions. It took me a quite a while before I knew how to use a recording software and timer. During that time, I was so dumb I didn't know how to download an program. I Couldn't figure out left from right. That's in the past though. I'll be happy to help if you need any. Just reply to this post if you have any questions.
I think that would be a great idea. I would do that. If I was a moderator, I would add that, but since I'm not: can someone add that please? Thanks.
Just click on the Level Leaderboard on the side. It can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Happened to me the first few times.
Just do what I do: Use my phone/tablet and just record over it. I have my device on a stand so the camera is fixed pointing down. I then just play my system and keep it perpendicular to the ground to get the best capture.
I hope you have a healthy life and thanks for all you do. Most speedrunners may not know it, but without admins like you, we wouldn't even be able to post our runs the way we do now. Thanks for your time.
Which version is better for this and why? Also, is the difference great enough where you have to do the better game, or could you just stick with either version. (right now, I only have Leafgreen)
That seems pretty cool. I should look into this for my personal save file. Then maybe into speedrunning too. I think we should allow the "unofficial" passwords.
Wouldn't this be cheating or TAS, or are those unoffical passwords actually in the game? How does this even work?
Ok. Thanks Wh0misDS. I'll just turn the game off halfway through the credits or so. I better start practicing.
I think the game only pressures you to save after the credits are over. I'll check into that. I think as long as I turn off the game during the credits. I'll check. Thanks anyway.
I want to Speedrun Pokemon Conquest, but I have a save file with 80% of my Golden Warriors in Rank 2 and Perfect Partners + most legendary Pokemon. I'm worried if I play the new save data (which I know I don't have to delete my save data to do), I'm worried the game may force me to save at some point. Is there a way for me to speedrun this game without losing my save data?
Well, the ONLY allowed Emulator is Gambatte Speedrun r649. Just click this link to download: https://github.com/Dabomstew/gambatte-speedrun/releases You also need a GBC BIOS image. Here's the link for that: http://docs.libretro.com/library/gambatte/ Please let me know how this works out for you. It took me a while to find a website that still had the GBC Bios Image up. Thanks.
There are only two runs in that category: one by me and one by Blue rapids 12. It said that "In Game Time" is used for placing runs. BlueRapid's run got 00:31:520 and mine got 00:30:450, both IGT. Yet I'm in second place. I think it is because the leader board was ranking the runs based off real time, which I didn't put down, so it put me in second. Should I just re upload the run with the real time added or will someone fix this? If no one can fix it, I'll just take down and repost the run with real time added as well. Thanks.
