Hey all

I feel like there should be some serious discussion about the new EH manip tool, the one Narfman currently uses. I remember there was some discussion here a while back and iirc there was already some people thinking it should be banned. I feel like we need a very thorough explanation what the new tool does and how it exactly does it, all the stuff with the lag frames and maybe something else we don't exactly know of. If I understood this correctly the tool Mitch used in his WR didn't read any information from the game itself during the run and the new one actually does (let me know if this isn't true). And the tool changes the manip according to the information that isn't humanly possible to acquire. One could say that it's pretty much the same as having a romhack that directly tells you all the lag frames which obviously wouldn't be allowed to use. This is getting closer and closer to a TAS and in my opinion we need to seriously discuss what is allowed and what isn't and probably do some kind of a voting to make decisions. And I feel this should be done asap before anyone gets WR or even PB with the newest tool.
