You know, Shotgun is strong with some normal enemies but with bosses sucks. You don't need to kill the zombies btw because you have to avoid them. So it's a pointless category actually as a Speedrun but there's other kinds of plays like challenges and some people try only handgun for example. If you want that just try it as a challenge game but not as a category here.
Yay. I think a Nemesis% NG+ would be interesting too
Also @jakef1891 I didn't say "yes". I changed my opinion for: If you want this project do it but for fun but I don't want a new category in this leaderboard about this mod. NG+ misc run looks a better option for me right now. Also Dchaps is always doing something amazing in pc versions and like I said, if anyone want this project, do it for fun but not official.
And well.... Resets are part of speedrunning all the time so I'm changing that opinion and I want to keep the game without a mod BUT if anyone wants that project, they have to play it like a "fun" speedrun but not official in this leaderboard, like in RE2 with the cutscene skip mod.
- I don't care if you're a non active, active or not runner of this game. For me every opinion is important but with respect and not attacking.
- If moding that RNG could change the entire game, I'll say no this time in this project.
- I prefer the NG+ misc right now. It looks fun for me.
- For me the magnum/GL RNG was really stupid all the time but If we're into this game, we have to deal with RNG. I'm into this speedrun for 3 years and I got a lot of rages but that's the essense of RE3.

I just read all this stuff and I don't know what to say about Komakino but well... China ver. is legal actually, we had a conversation about that case months ago.
- Wusscake runs are ok because the version is legal and he's a skillful speedrunner. I admire his dedication in this game.
- There's a filter with regions and difficulty ( China ver. it's not difficult to find it BTW. There's a lot of runners with that version).
- I'm agree both versions are differents in seconds because of the texts (jap vs chn) but I can't take you seriously Komakino because you're a shitty person that I don't want to deal as a mod.
Conclusion: There's a filter in the leaderboards with the regions. For me you can have USA WR or JPN WR or CHN WR because they're differents in seconds. China version is legal because we had a long discussion about that and thanks to Liv and Carci we realized there's a legal copy of that version.

I'm agree with this. Also I don't like when someone try to edit the leaderboard without talking first... we're a community and Julian always try to do the best in RE3. GC/emu is like 1-2 minutes faster than GC disc so is unfair for disc WRs actually. This will be like RE2 leaderboards separating GC-GC/emu and psp/emu =) and I like it.
