I might be attempting a True Glitchless run. Is wall-climb side step and using it to get to higher places that aren't OOB considered a glitch or no?

I'm playing on ps3 atm and when I grab onto the helicopter the intended animation doesn't happen. Instead, when I grab onto the helicopter, the time stops like normal, but faith just falls down and dies, then it restarts the end sequence. Anyone know what causes this and how I can avoid it?

I notice the rules say X360, but not ps3. Is playing on Ps3 not allowed for a 1000% run?
