I tallied up all the achievements you can get in 1 night (Survival Mode), and I was wondering if it may be possible to add a category with this in mind. I don't know about one of the achievements, but in total, I have 10 achievements that can be obtained.
- Are You There? (easy)
- Honk! (easy)
- A Salvage Stumped (easy)
- Watch It! (easy)
- G-G-Ghosts!! (medium)
- An Absolute Unit of Blood (medium)
- Bronze,
- Silver,
- Golden,
- & Platinum Sonic (all completed throughout the course of the night)
The one I'm not sure about is Broken Record of Jumpscares. I've done it in the past, but I don't remember if it's completed upon being jumpscared or if it is only available when you go to the Jumpscares menu. If someone can educate me on this, that would be fantastic.
Thank you to whoever reads this!
If you guys don't want me to keep chucking the lowest amounts of dashes I could muster at this thread, please tell me. In the meantime:
Forsaken City A + B Sides are complete, here is my proof. If you have any ideas on how to lower the dashes, please do tell me. I'll keep gathering footage for this, if anybody cares for it.
I've been looking through the categories of both Base Game and Category Extensions, and I couldn't find anything regarding Pico-8 Celeste. Is there anything regarding this, and if there isn't, would it be possible to add a category regarding this part of the game?
What about minimum dashes per level? I don't know how that'd work, but it might be a fun challenge to optimise. I don't know how it'd be timed though.
I have created a video regarding the new timing rules. It's a tad convoluted, but it is doable within about 5 minutes.
I appreciate the attempt at LiveSplit! I did have to deduct a third of a second off your time, unfortunately, as you took a short while to activate the timer (which I believe was around a third of a second, hence the time penalty), but this was by no means a bad run. Well done, and if you feel like this change needs reverting, please contact me to prove why. Good job, Glover!
The fact that pressing the start button pre-emptively loads in the game... It can be helpful to shave half a second or so off some times (if we ever get to that point)
Hi Glover!
I personally use LiveSplit as a (semi)reliable timing system, although it is very subject to human error.
I apologise for the confusion regarding the timing of the runs. I'll try explain it best I can:
The full game runs begin as soon as you stop hearing the time travelling noise during the first loading screen you enter.
Individual level runs are timed in the same manner, excluding All Cats% level runs, which are timed by the game itself.
If you would like to appeal any times that you have submitted, I will gladly see what I can do about it.
I believe you just found something that will benefit the economy... Well done, keep it up!
