Due to new strats I discovered recently for Any%, these are my suggestions for current rules:

Any% and Glitchless: Time starts on pressing Start on the title screen and ends on the first frame of helicopter landing at last stage (visual cue is when your lifebar dissappears).

Glitches:

1. Infinite health: your dead body must fall at the Item that gives health, in some cases jumping helps, in some cases it's necessarily; Infinite health is a must for screen wraps;

2. Screen wrap: scroll the ladder to >50%, grab it and hold left, after that hold right; depending on the moment you hold right, you can: a ) fall down and die — it's very unlikely and I think it's pixel-perfect; b ) go to the "void" when you can't see your character and screen in not scrolling (you still alive but most likely will die); c ) stop scrolling at the very exact pixel so the scrolling will stop and the character will be at the right border of the screen, you can wiggle left-right from this position to start scrolling; d ) scrolling will continue and the character will be near the right screen border, that's what we want;

3. Early stage completion: you need to touch the stage completion trigger, to do this, in most cases you will need to setup "Screen wrap" (3c and 3d above), after that you need to grab the ladder near right border of the screen and hold right; the difficulty is that this glitch is pixel-perfect (about 3 pixels after the ladder), there are some visual cues though, but it's still very hard and there is no backup;

4. Character levitation (TAS only): there is a glitch that allows your charated to levitate, you need to alternate right and B inputs every frame or hold right and press B every second frame; it could be done only with turbo-buttons/controllers etc. RTA.

Note: there is some more tricks, like small vertical "zip" at stage 5 after ladders, they should be allowed for Glitchless and considered as game mechanics and not glitches in my opinion.

I was often asked by viewiers about this category, Hawkeye%, playing as Hawkeye only. Recenty I've tried to determine the rules for that category and overall run difficulty. Here is the results of my research:

1. Hawkeye% category would be way harder and slower than Any% because of lack of moves compared to Captain America, most important one is dash;
2. Hawkeye is way weaker compared to Captain America, even trying to complete the game without collecting Power Stones (sort of experience) is REALLY hard;
3. And the most important thing: you just can't complete the game using Hawkeye only (by switching hero at the very beginning); that caused by stage called "Houston", there is only one Key Crystal that allows to move up to the next stage at the very end and to get it you need to tackle (grab) the ledge (or what ever it is) as Captain America, Hawkeye can't jump that high.

So basically you can complete most of the game as Hawkeye and just grab Key Crystal at Houston as Captain America, but there would be other questions/problems/rules. By just playing Hawkeye you need to switch to him after every stage. By uniting heroes another annoying thing shows up, you need to switch to Hawkeye at the beginning of every stage. And red alers...eh, there is no way to make TRUE Hawkeye%. If only someone will find the way to skip Houston or it's exit trigger, grab Key Crystal there as Hawkeye...I will add such category, otherwise I won't.

We have talked with Dormouse about new category — Glitchless for Kyatto Ninden Teyandee (Samurai Pizza Cats).

Here are the rules we came to. No glitches are allowed, this includes:

1. auto-attacking
2. fast digging
3. double ninpo use for cost of one
4. boss quick-kills
5. any new discovered glitches

What do you think about it? Maybe you have some suggestions for rules?
