     If you see this please read it in its entirety and provide feedback in detail I started speedrunning recently and am looking for advice as I cant find much of anything online.

Problem 1/2

     In 6-2 whenever I get to the gate just before the boss room I core nuke while sliding like you would. Except instead of clipping through the gate like I was told should happen, sometimes I just go up while against the gate. The only difference I can find between me and meta run routes in this part is how much the core eject is charged: while others charge fully I just tap it. When I DO charge the core eject fully I'm either slower or mess up by hitting with the wrong railgun or not hitting the core eject soon enough before it lands or the gate opens. I don't know what difference this makes but this is something i have experimented with and have no choice now but to turn to others.

Problem 2/2

     When setting up the nails, coin punching and dead coins. I can never seem to get the nails right but I do get more damage from them. This to make up for i punch the coin a few times but I want to know the meta nail routine and magnet placement. I don't like standing on the stool under Gabriel because it makes it harder for me to see and punch the coin after the fight starts so I cant stand there for reference of magnets unless someone tells me the strategy for doing so properly.

i dont have any experience with 6-2 p% so i cant give much advice except faster ultraboosts

i recommend switching the order so the malrail is first so you can just tap the bind for railcannon and click instead of pressing it twice or three times depending on your order. And of course practice.

with problem 1 its kinda just luck it works sometimes and other times it just doesnt its inconsistent

like i mean every once in a fucking blue moon it for some reason makes you get to gabe like 5x  faster than you should thats only happened to me once though


problem 2 i explained in the other forum post im always happy to explain more if needed i like rambling about this level


might be a downpatch with clipping through the gate before its fully opened. Same sort of thing happened with 0-3 where you would go into a corner in the first room, nuke facing away from the wall and it would clip you oustide (only possible before rocket launcher update)

UB clips were patched out a few months after Greed came out, so no that doesn't affect 6-2. There was a door clip on an older version of 6-2 though, the door seemingly allowed you to go through easier but this no longer affects 6-2 P% as the WR is on current patch.
