100% is beating the game while collecting all 19 recipe cards and using them to unlock all 19 blessing gems, as well as finding Lok's Hammer of the Handy Juju.

Total recipe costs: 822 bugs, 643 crystals, 626 fruit. Bugs, crystals, and fruit are only added to your inventory if you finish the level, or if you save before quitting to juju realm. On GameCube, you have to finish a sub section of a level, save your game, quit the game and then reload the save file to keep the recipe items.

Recipe Ingredients values are as follows: Purple is 1 Blue is 5 Green is 10 Yellow is 25 Red is 50

Recipes are found either in levels, or in side quests, which are accessed through green portals in levels.

Recipe locations (note, for example, "temple of light 2" means the section of temple of light after going through the first blue portal, aka the 2nd section of temple of light):

1. Silverstone coast 1, on third shark head at end of section.
2. Silverstone coast 2, side quest behind you (away from water) after falling cut scene. The optimal strat is to get to this portal around where the second checkpoint is.
3. Temple of light 1, side quest on left path in room with three cannons.
4. Temple of light 1, side quest on right path in room with three cannons. This is the area we find our self in when doing the skip at the beginning of the level.
5. Casters hill 2, just over ledge leading to platforms made by final casting stone of the section.
6. Casters hill 2, side quest to your right, right after the super easy casting stone skip.
7. Kiro biro 2, path behind tak at entrance to gauntlet (where lok is in cannon and tak just got tossed by orangutan). Optimally, you would get to the other side with Lok and collect the card with him. 8 ) Kiro biro 2, other end of gauntlet, but turn right instead of left. Use submerged barrels to get across water. We just jump around the corner to get here in a run.
8. Parchlands 1, get to mammoth, turn left, it's on a pedestal. The optimal way to get it is to do some slam cancels at the top of the level.
9. Parchlands 2, after thorn skip, go left. It's on a pedestal.
10. Gates of nocturne 2, behind portal to next section.
11. Gates of nocturne 3, side quest across from portal to next section.
12. Fowlers murk 3, on lily pad at end of section. We get this recipe card when doing the normal skip.
13. Fowlers murk 3, side quest just before the end of section.
14. Deepwood 2, side quest that you pass by right at start of section.
15. Ambush Grove 1, side quest just before end of section. Button lowers elevator that takes you to side quest portal.
16. Ghastfall 1, just before first chicken suit, there's a vine wall. Climb up, hit button, jump across platforms that rise, and it's there. Optimally, you would use a momentum jump at the beginning of the level to get there.
17. Obocodobo crypt 2, on top of last dart shooter in the first room of the section.
18. Obocodobo crypt 2, side quest immediately to your right at start of section.

Hammer of the Handy Juju: You have to revisit three locations, Gates of Nocturne 2, casters hill 2, ambush grove 2. You have to go in that order. Once you go there and the cut scene triggers, you can quit the level and return to the juju realm. Once all three cut scenes trigger, you now have the hammer. You can tell you have it because Lok will have an extra weapon blessing gem socket compared to Tak. This can be done any time after Proving Grounds 3.

Side quest basic routing: 2) Do a momentum jump at the beginning of the level to reach the recipe card.

3. RNG. Hit as many chickens as you can. Once you've hit the four special chickens, recipe appears on first of the wobbly platforms.

4. By doing the normal major skip, you collect this recipe card. If you miss the recipe card, it's best to reset the level. If you don't do the skip, get one character to stand on the final platform and have the other raise the platform.

5. kill rokkers with cannon, get recipe. Simple. You can jump around the death plane to fight them on foot but I'm not sure what would be better.

6. Optimally, use Lok and stand on the thorn behind all of the vines. Jump around the thorns, do a Healy McFeely (slam cancel) and you should grab onto an invisible ledge.

7. Just traverse the level. Ignore the first casting stone and ignore the enemies. Use 2nd casting stone, then jump from the casting stone thing to the recipe.

8. Tak swims across water, grapples Lok over, then swims across more water, grapples Lok over again. Tak or Lok stands on button, the other gets on the elevator, rides it up, jumps around thorns, jumps to get recipe.

9. Knock 30 chickens off platforms, recipe spawns at start. Lok seems to be better at knocking off chickens, so keep Tak at start, so the recipe spawns on him.

10. Lok just keeps moving forwards. You have to do a few Healy McFeelys to reach the button.

Basic full game route:

. Play through the first few levels normally, collecting the recipe cards and some ingredients on the way.

. Once you reach Parchlands, collect the two big crystal and fruit containers and then save/reset the level. You get 225 crystals and 175 fruit from this. Get them again and complete the level.

. Continue the game while collecting the recipe cards.

. Complete Ambush Grove like you would in any%. Ignore the side quest for now.

. Once you have done the third proving grounds, visit the locations needed to get Lok's handy hammer. Go to Gates of Nocturne. You can very quickly get 75 bugs at the beginning of the level so save/reset until you get 722 bugs. You can also get some fruit. Collect those bugs again, get the yellow bug at the end of the first section, activate the hammer cutscene and then quit out. You should have enough of every ingredient.

(If you still need more crystals, quickly revisit Parchlands. There is also a huge fruit container at the beginning of Ghastfall that gives you around 125 fruit. Go to Ghastfall if you need more fruit but if you need more crystals as well, go to Parchlands.)

. Activate the hammer cutscene on Caster's Hill and Ambush Grove. Do the side quest in Ambush Grove as well.

. Buy 4 blessing gems, apply them to Lok's hammer. You could get more blessing stones and apply them elsewhere if you wish but upgrading Lok's hammer is the most important.

. Finish the last two stages while also collecting the last few recipe cards.

. Buy all the remaining blessing gems. If you are missing one or more, check which ones you missed and make sure you get them.

. Beat the final proving grounds.
