There's some sort of glitch (I think it has to do with the emulator tho) where sometimes the jump would be stuck on one direction, and the character will automatically go that direction unless you try to stop it, it happened at the end of the electrical world and during the boss fight. It's as if the button was stuck and kept being pressed.
