Unfortunately, I haven't seen ANY timers that can work on iPhone on device, you would need a separate device to time it, which is complicated since the timer needs to be on screen as well if you plan on a full game run, I'll keep an eye out.
Since the game has a timer at the end of the run, I see it easier to switch to the in game time. That would make it possible for some players to speed run this game (iPhone users). It might also expand the community. Right now iPhone users have no way of “officially” speed running Soul Knight.
For IOS users, use iMovie to edit a timer after you run the game. Good luck!
There have been an increase of runs that do not have a timer attached to them. I hate rejecting good runs, so please add a timer.
For Android users, a good, easy timer to use is floating speedrun timer (I think?). For IOS users, you can use iMovie to attach a timer to the run.
(Also, are we still getting the categories changed around)
I was thinking about real time Vs in-game time. The results: Real time counts the time of choosing buffs, the time to execute the room manipulation glitch, but it counts loading times, and prefers faster phones. (Also on Android the Floating Speedrun Timer, which I use drops the FPS sometimes.) In-game time doesn't count reaction time, and reloading levels (in my opinion killing most skill required) but doesn't count loading times (makes this preferred by users with slower phones), and doesn't drop the framerate.
Also, could you add two categories?: In-game Any% In-game Vampire-less Because they won't die just to get a 1-5 time. (I would be interested in becoming a moderator, I'm already checking the site five times a day, and you don't have an European moderator.)
We have updated the rules for English to make them look more presentable. You can find the written version by Ghostt here:
Furthermore, new categories!
While they are not new game modes, we
