General Movement Guide

A guide that shows off/includes information about some general movement to help you optimize your runs.

**Avoiding ! Tiles**: When running this game, avoid any ! tiles that you find on the floor during gameplay. These tiles contain general game info and tips/tricks textboxes that will slow you down.

**Door Clipping**: You can walk through already opened doors. Saves small amounts of time throughout the game.

Both HELIXE save names below can be used together.

Level Select - Start a new game in slot 2 using the name HELIXE. Finish the first dialog scene until you can control Scooby. Pause the game and quit. Restart the console and now the level name will show at the top of the main menu. Press L or R to change the level.

Different Text Animations - Start a new game in slot 3 using the name HELIXE. Finish the first dialog scene until you can control Scooby. Pause the game and quit. Restart the console and now the text animations will be different.

- Ch01L02HotelBase - Starts Chapter 1 in the basement. (Go upstairs then finish Chapter)

Skips/Tricks Guide

A guide that contains most skips/tricks that have been found in this game.

**3rd Ghost Skip (Chapter 1)**: Skips having to trigger the ghost cutscene before heading to the hotel basement. Both sides of the wall can skip the cutscene trigger.

**Electricity Ghost Out of Bounds**: Using the ghosts electricity orbs you can damage boost yourself out of bounds. This trick is situational as not every chapter contains these enemies and you will get stuck out of bounds if you aren't getting continuously shot. This trick works with every character each having slightly different setups.

**Blue Pedestal Early (Chapter 9)(2 Methods)**: Similar to above. Uses the electricity ghost and damage boosting to skip a long running section to the Blue Idol Pedestal. You will get stuck out of bounds if you aren't getting continuously hit. This trick most likely works with every character but only Scooby and Shaggy have been tested.
