I've grown up playing boxing games, my favorite of which being the Rocky games, as I had always loved the movies.

This is my very first speedrun and I feel that it's appropriate that it's on this game. I had done no prior training or strategizing before this run, as I have beaten both Rocky & Rocky Legends on the hardest difficulty, and thought it would be easy, and boy was I wrong!

There was a lot of mistakes and unoptimal play that lost me a lot of time - Missing super punches/Not being able to pull one off at important moments, Not having the movement speed to follow through with jab combos, stop an opponent from healing or chasing them, and of course, maybe my jabbing strategy wasn't the best idea in general.

I think next time, I'm going to try doing mainly hooks, and TKOing every opponent with little to no mistakes. I have a lot to learn and I look forward to perfecting my play and uploading more speedruns!
