Right Click Livesplit>Edit Layout>Plus Sign>Control>Scriptable Autosplitter

From there you can add an autosplitter which you can download from the resources section of this board. Make sure Livesplit is comparing against Game Time by right clicking Livesplit>Compare Against> Game time. Then the timer should start and reset automatically.
