Well, it happened. Red and Blue Balls 3 has been completed in under 5:25. The world record has dropped more than 70 seconds in the past two months and it is an honor to have carried the game this far.

This run uses nearly every time-saving strat known. The only unused strats are a switchless 13 exit and full IL 16, both of which are very difficult and save ~0.6 seconds combined over the currently used strats. There is ~1 second of timesave in cave and 22/23 from slightly sloppy gameplay as well.

With this time currently being under 5 seconds behind my sum of best, I am retiring from this category for the time being. Good luck to any runners trying to beat this in the future; while this run is not perfect, beating it will definitely be a challenge.
