Wanted to know, if I should only practice on normal and overkill or if hard and very hard will have categories as well. currently I beleive hold the world record for very hard rock the cradle, and want to know If I should refine that run or abandon it in favor of the easier normal run

With all the new infiltration mechanics on inspection mod, should we have some exotic categories (maybe in extended) like no mask, no kill, stealth, ect...

At the moment we are waiting for the game to be stable and, in principle, for the opening of the leaderboard. We will add other categories as needed by the community. 

At the moment we are considering difficulty as in payday 2 leaderboard, where we have min and max difficulty in categories. You can select hard and very hard and play, but they will not exist as separate categories, because only different is a hp/damage on cops. You can see what it looks like in Payday 2 speedrun page, so for now, yes, we probably look Normal and OVK category only. (but its only for now, maybe after time we add this if we have runners who interested in it)

Please dont do only difficulty.. There are new methods of running now, such as Maskless Stealth - Masked Stealth etc.

Please take these into consideration!

Hey Levi, there is also the ammount of loot you have to bring with u that changes in difficulties. For example dirty ice normal you can either bring 4 bags from VIP room or 2 bags and the Gem on normal but on hard you need 4 bags and gem from the VIP room. I am pretty sure its like this on NRFTW and G&S but havent played those maps to much.

It's only 3rd day of the game and I'm looking a lot of stuff in game for rules, so people can start running and recording as soon as possible, but in the same time we doing the payday 3 discord server so people can talk about speedrun in one place. And ofc we love to hear every ideas for leaderboards.

And about "Maskless Stealth" it's more like Category Extansion, what we are not looking for now, cuz we need start the main leaderboard. For Category Extansion we have some ideas and already got some from people, so we add them in future, but only after we start the main leaderboard.

Completly understandable, nice to hear a discord is being created and cant wait to join it.

I cant wait for the discord. it will be so much less stressful than hanging in the official payday discord. less peeps yelling about the servers being down and more peeps sharing interesting tech and routes

I think that unmasked (mask off) and masked stealth should be separate things

I'm hoping for a no restart or at least a full info heist where you have to run it like you've never played it

I really believe that console and PC shouldn't be a thing and it should be Loud and stealth instead.

Your guys' suggestions are great ideas, and we hear you. Levi and I feel most of these suggestions would be more greatly felt across on a category extensions type page, rather than the main page. Adding all these categories to the main page would become rather unwieldy and cumbersome from a visual point of view, and would serve to overwhelm new runners with too many choices when they first view the leaderboards. However, as I said, these suggestions will likely come in the form of a category extensions page within a few weeks! <3
