I have just uploaded my 1.03 file just in-case 1.04 turns off invincibility glitch.

Update: Patch is out. I can still do my favourite glitch!

Was routing 100% yesterday and found a new glitch. If you skip the room-start checkpoint (like you would with death delay), then save some mudokons (before activating a checkpoint) and restart checkpoint while they're being saved, you'll start falling. When the mudokons are free, you can jump out of the falling animation, and then you've activated the glitch.

The game seems to act like you don't even exist. Levers don't do anything, sligs ignore you, other enemies still attack but they don't do anything, checkpoints don't do anything, changing rooms is a soft lock, mudokons will agree to follow you but won't actually move, chant supressors don't do anything (well they work but their attacks don't do anything), you can even run over mines.

The big difference between this and the other death delay is that this one is very easy to get out of. Anything which makes Abe play his landing animation will exit the state, so falling from one floor to a level below, or restarting the checkpoint will get you out of it (hopping is fine though). Some of what you've done whilst in the state will activate when you come out of it. Levers that you pulled will be activated, mudokons that you asked to follow you will follow you, traps that you tripped will be activated (not mines though).

Ehh my explanation is probably bad again. I made a video of the slow room in the Stockyards which will hopefully show roughly how it works.

There's a few other places I've found where it might save a bit of time but not all that much, would need to time to be sure but probably not worth it. Seems like it could save quite a bit of time in the last room of Zulag 1 and Zulag 4 though.

Maybe someone else can find better use for it.

In Zulag 4, if you rescue the Mudokons, the glitch disappears when you go to a new screen.

Here's a practical use for it. I also found you can go through portals normally if you just reset the checkpoint while in them, too. The glitch still cancels out, though.

Edit: You also have an infinite amount of bombs when using this glitch.

Oh hey that's really good. I did try it in that room but didn't realise you could reach the Slig without activating the Slogs.

Sorry I didn't have time last night to make videos for my ideas for the ends of Zulag 1 and 4.

Zulag 1 is a little tricky because of that mudokon surrounded by the meat saws. I've had it happen a few times where he's run into them while running to the portal. Seems to work most of the time though, just don't forget to pull the lever otherwise he has no chance. It might be possible to get through the door without dying but dying doesn't waste too much time.

The timing in Zulag 4 is pretty tight but otherwise pretty straightforward.

So it works on console as well? Though since console u gotta pause it would seem theres a major time difference between consoles and PC.

Sorry, it seems like its all I care about is the versions being the same. Im very OCD about that type of thing.

Yea, with the console version, you really gotta plan out when to use these reset glitches as some are just time wasting. Doesn't help that the PC version runs smoother than the finest silk compared to consoles, too, but what can you do? haha.

What spec are you guys using to record PC gameplay? I have a very good MSI GE60 gaming laptop and I was able just to record the game just fine without any lag. But now I'm experiencing lag whilst recording. But I also have Windows on a partition on my iMac and I can record the game smoothly on there.

The latest update made my performance on Windows bomb. It's pretty bad right now. Seems fine on Linux, so I'm using that. Maybe try the 1.03 exe?

Uh oh, guys... I think I just found a new invincibility glitch haha.

If you do the Reset Chapter glitch while in Shrykull mode, you retain it's invincibility. Full invincibility, too, as in walking over mines and such. The big difference here is that you can actually still save Mudokens while invincible since you're not considered dead here. The glitch will cancel out if you leave a room or do another Shrykull mode, however.

Another thing I found is that if you do the reset chapter glitch while in Shrykull mode, you'll have it infinitely unless you run through those motion sensors, of course.

Nice find. There is a DRM free version of New 'n' Tasty for Windows that I can try. The 1.03 file doesn't do much. So I will remove it because it doesn't do anything to the game.

Damn I already found a completely new glitch.

If you checkpoint reset before Abe gets to pull a lever then press the action button again anywhere else in a level, he will zoom back instantanously to pull it again. I have the idea that this could cut a lot of time with that first secret room in Stockyards and some rooms in Zulag for starters.

Oh wow that Shrykull glitch... and you can take the Shrykull from the end of Zulag 4 into the Boardroom.

Really nice find.

Can't replicate the lever glitch though, but I might just be doing it wrong. I've wanted to figure that glitch out for ages.

Yea, I'm currently trying to plan out my routes to savor shrykull forms throughout all the Zulags and such.

Here's the lever reset glitch in use

...To be honest, I'm not sure this can be used much since its so inconsistent and can get you killed just because it just decides not to work correctly even if you're standing at the same exact spot

Edit: Forgot to mention. You can have Abe facing backwards from a lever to make it easier to perform the lever glitch.

Update: Our very skilled runner Qwerku has got a 1:08 in-game time with some unexpected time savers here! Very impressive World Record indeed! G'day mate!

Update: I have fixed lagging issues on my laptop. All I had to do was change some settings on the Nvidia Control panel and now my game works smoothly! No lag at all!

You guys need to stop finding stuff. Im supposed to be learning tembo but you guys are making me wanna just skip tembo and relearn NnT.

Ive got some questions though. Ive been checking in on this thread as I get notifications for it but I havnt watched any actual runs in a while. Are the time differences with all these glitches that severe between console and PC? Cuz I really dont want to have to beat Qwerkus 1:15 on console. U guys know that 100% is my baby.

So I wanna know what the deal is. Are we gonna have a split between console and PC and are we gonna make a glitchless category? I dont want to sound like an old timer or something, but I do prefer running games as pure as possible, without all thse death glitches and resets in em. Like the old days.
