This Guide contains the current strategies used for BigChunk% as of Monday June 7 and will be updated periodically as the Big Chunk Bossfight is further optimized. Please note that the following information has been developed by myself and other members of the community.

UPDATE: There are now two ways to run BigChunk% as of Wednesday June 9th.

-Strat 1

1. Pre-game tasks. Currently the different difficulties of BigChunk% have not been split into different categories meaning that the fastest route is only currently possible by selecting gamer difficulty. Select gamer difficulty before starting the game.

2. Spawning in. In nearly all categories looking around is the first thing you are going to want to do. Find an object in this priority list; Looters House, Furnace House, Jacks house, Unidentified House, Cooks house, Wooden Wagon, Free Chest.

3. Deciding If the run is worth continuing. If none of the objects in the priority list have been spotted after wandering for a while and you have not picked up anything of value then you should start from step 1.

3.5. Items of value. Start of run items, if you are in the first 5 minutes of a run these powers are worth considering continuing the run. Dracula, Piggy Bank, Orange Juice, Peanut Butter, and Sneakers will increase the effectiveness of your run more the closer they are to the start. Items that are important are Adamantite, Mitrill, Steel Axe, Steel Pickaxe, Gold Axe, Gold Pickaxe. Any Time in the run powers, if you get these items after the first 5 minutes it will still help with the boss fight. Red Pill, Blue Pill, Dumbbell, and Dani's Milk. Some important items are Apple Pies, Meat Pies, Adamantite, and Mitrill. Godlike powers that will significantly speed up the boss fight are Wings of glory and an item is the Adamantite Sword.

4. Items to get before fighting the boss. A full mitrill set of armor allows you to go through the whole fight without healing which will save lots of time. An Adamantite Sword is the best weapon possible, but a Mitrill one will suffice in a pinch.

5. The bossfight. Stand in an area with no obstructions in front of you so the boss can spawn as close as possible. If you have Wings of Glory make sure you are landing WoG hits whenever possible. Aim for the rear end of the boss as it has three hitboxes you can hit (this is not my finding, please dm me as I cannot find who said to do this so I can give you credit for the discovery).

6. Drink some victory milk.

2. Spawning in. Look for a house with an anvil outside of it. Look inside the chests for a sword or tools that will allow you to quickly get a sword. If you do not get these items within roughly 45 seconds of spawning, or you do not have a clear objective restart.

3. After obtaining the sword. Go find shrines and fight elite enemies. You will need to have a good understanding of combat to use this run as it relies on quickly defeating shrines. Go to shrine after shrine and buy chests on the way to the next shrine.

4. Items to get before fighting the boss. No armor is needed due to the high likely hood your power up's will be enough to keep you alive. The sword you got at the beginning will suffice for your damage.

5. The bossfight. Stand in an area with no obstructions in front of you so the boss can spawn as close as possible. If you have Wings of Glory make sure you are landing WoG hits whenever possible.
