Beginners Guide to Getting Fast

If you've never done a lot of time trials in MKWii or looked at any tech, this is a quick beginners guide:

How to install the game

1.) Have a wii + mario kart wii disc

2.) Have it homebrewed (https://wii.guide/)

3.) Download the riivolution files from resources

4.) Drag them on to the top of your SD card

5.) Put your SD card back in your wii

6.) Boot up riivolution from the homebrew menu, make sure mkf is enabled and save to SD is off along with an other riivolution files you have and hit launch.

Now the game should launch!

How to play tracks via CTGP

1) Download the pack from the resources tab

2) Unzip the download, and navigate to the folder "MKF v2.0 Riivolution/mkf/Course/"

3) This folder contains all of the tracks (the .szs files) in order. You can find out which track is which based on their order in this PDF: https://docdro.id/XlPvzoa

4) Plug in your SD card with CTGP into your computer. Grab the course file you want to play and put it in your "My Stuff" folder

How to Quickly Submit ILs

You probably noticed already, but there's a ton of ILs (688 atm) and that takes forever to scroll through.
However, if you're submitting on pc, there's a way to quickly find the level you want to submit for!
With the list of courses open, simply start typing the course name and the list will automatically try to find the item you're searching for on the list. This can help you submit levels almost instantly.
