I first beat RunStrafe's record with the time of 8.510 by using the normal start but skipping straight to the top platform.

I didn't think the Legacy strat would work on Default, but I decided to try it and it worked! It's amazing to still see new strats being discovered after so long. It's hard to say how good this run is as it was the first completion with this new strat, but by the looks of it I can't see any real flaws. But time will tell!
