Who's going, who's submitting what, what does everybody think of current submissions, let's get a thread going.

I'll be there for the first half of the event, as that's when I was able to get a hotel room. An on-site hotel room, and no I'm not looking for a roommate :P I'll be submitting inFAMOUS First Light, Hue, Murdered Soul Suspect, and Escape Plan. I hope I'll get the chance to show one of them off.

What I am is someone who needs privacy for their personal accommodations. Trust me, no one would want to room with me anyway ;)

I've heard that AGDQ 2020 is planned for a larger venue, but they're locked in with the Hilton Dulles for '19.

Games list just came out a few hours ago. I'm in!! So excited. Anyone else 'round these parts make the cut?

• Only one Pokemon run (not that I care about gen5 at all...)
• No source engine again
• Not even Super Metroid, no animals to kill off, so they're gonna be missing a bunch of donations for this probably. done.

No Super Metroid is indeed quite a shock. No 8-bit Mario either.

Netherlands didn't make the qualifing cut, and now Super Metroid didn't make the qualifying cut... what is going on with this world?

the big problem in the games list is the overload of mega man games

6 of them (3 being in the relay race). Seems about average, maybe slightly above. There's always a "Megaman block." The relay is probably a primetime event, the other 3 in a block is my guess.

All of it will be naptime for me. Just not my thing.

I'm happy I'm close to the beginning, though my inability to stay the whole week kinda bites me in the butt. There's a bunch happening late that I'd have liked to be there for. Oh well. Next time :)

I don't think I'll ever be able to make it to a GDQ, as they're always in the USA. I will of course try to watch anything interesting (and not too gruesome), though. :)
